Objectives of Fund
This fund aims to provide capital funding for CDL organisations to purchase digital devices that can be used by learners to support their learning.

Grants of up to £15,000 are available.
Who Can Apply
The following can apply:
- Charities.
- Voluntary organisation.
- Social enterprises.
- Community organisations.
- Volunteering bodies.
- Credit unions.
- Housing associations.
- Community interest companies (CICs) – if there is an asset lock in place.
- Charitable trusts (if set up by a Local Authority the trust must be fully independent of it).
- Community enterprise trusts.
Groups must be based in and have been delivering CLD services in Scotland for at least one year.
Organisations must retain ownership of the devices and be responsible for set-up, ongoing management, and security of devices.
Eligible Expenditure
Funding can be used to purchase digital devices to support learning, such as:
- Laptops.
- Tablets.
- Monitors.
- Cameras.
- Mi-fi dongles (hardware only, not data).
How To Apply
The deadline for applications is 16 September 2022 (noon).
Groups must register through the SCVO’s online grants portal.
